Well, this is it, folks. I am as ready as I’ll ever be. As you are reading this I will be on a bus, or a plane, or sitting in an air port waiting to get on a plane to take me to Ireland. I’ve probably forgotten something very important. I doubt I’ve eaten yet, and I’m still in my pajamas. I have euros in my pocket and I am ready to take on the old world. I hope. I should be. I’ve been to Wal-mart every day this week.
So, your prayers would be greatly appreciated as I have never flown this far before and am very nervous about it. I’m hoping to sleep through it so that I’m not thinking about the fact that if we crash no one will ever find my body. On the other hand, I’ll be in heaven, so I guess I won’t care at that point. I’m trying desperately to think of what I’ve forgotten, and it’s not working.
I make no promises. But I will try to make a quick update if I can while I’m over there. You never know what I might be able to do. I will take lots of pictures, which I will put up for all to see. Or at least the good ones. :p I’m going to miss my bed. These are the things I’m thinking about on my last night at home before leaving for Ireland. It’s a wee bit ridiculous. I’ll have to tell you all about the tv shows I discover while over there and how amazing all the accents are. Because listening to the accents is the best part of going anywhere. I’ll also have to tell you all about how the drinking goes. It’ll be my first taste of beer so I feel Ireland is the best place for it. So you all have that to look forward to you.
So for now I am saying good bye and wish me luck. I promise to have lots of stories when we get back.
